Rates and Fees in Colorado
Please note that all Title Insurance Underwriters are directly responsible for the filing of rate schedules with the Colorado Division of Insurance. Northwest Title Company, as the title insurance agent, will determine if a reissue credit or other permissible discount can be applied to a order during the title examination process for all transactions submitted to our company. Please be advised that certain discounts or credits cannot be applied in conjunction with other special rates or bundling of rates as applicable (e.g. bundled loan rates). Title insurance agents (like our company) that perform settlement are also required to separately file our settlement fees directly with the Colorado Division of Insurance. Colorado is therefore a “filed rate state” and those pricing structures must be strictly adhered to as filed with the Colorado Division of Insurance. Please contact our branch office if you have any questions about each of our underwriter's rate schedules or our settlement fees.
NOTICE: EACH SCHEDULE OF EFFECTIVE RATES AND FEES AND APPLICABLE RULES FOR REGULARLY ISSUED TITLE INSURANCE POLICIES AND REGULARLY IMPOSED CLOSING AND SETTLEMENT CHARGES, INCLUDING ENDORSEMENT, GUARANTEES AND OTHER FORMS OF INSURANCE COVERAGE, ARE READILY AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION BY THE PUBLIC. COPIES OF SUCH SCHEDULES SHALL BE FURNISHED TO THE PUBLIC UPON REQUEST. WE MAY IMPOSE A REASONABLE CHARGE FOR THE COPIES AND SHALL PROVIDE THE COPIES WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME.
